1. Could you briefly introduce your company and the products and solutions you offer in the industry?
As İlhami Kaynak Elektrik Kömürleri, we have been engaged in production and product development in the field of electrical current transmission since 1975. With more than fifty years of industry experience, we manufacture carbon brushes, carbon-metal brushes, brush holders, slip ring systems, insulated shafts, vacuum pump vanes, and current transmission components for various applications.
In addition to our standard products, we also carry out custom design and production according to our customers’ systems, operating conditions, dimensional requirements, and current capacity needs. With our production experience, technical expertise, and ability to develop application-specific solutions, we aim to provide our customers with fast, reliable, and sustainable solutions.
2. What factors influenced your decision to participate in ATRAX for the first time? Have you had the opportunity to visit our fair in previous years?
We have been regularly visiting ATRAX for the past three years. We have closely observed that the fair brings together major manufacturers, operators, and solution partners from the entertainment and recreation industry under one roof.
The fact that a significant portion of our existing customers and business partners participate in ATRAX was a decisive factor in our decision to participate. We decided to take part with a stand for the first time this year, saying, “We should also be part of this important gathering of our industry.”
During the fair, we aim to strengthen our existing collaborations, meet with our customers and business partners, and at the same time meet new companies and lay the foundations for long-term partnerships.
3. Which products and solutions will you showcase at your stand? Could you tell us about the key features and application areas of these products?
At our stand, we will showcase our slip ring systems, carbon brushes, brush holders, and various current transmission components for rotating systems.
Slip ring systems enable the continuous transmission of electrical power and signals between a stationary structure and mechanisms that rotate continuously or at specific angles. We can custom-design our products according to the number of channels, current capacity, inner and outer diameters, connection type, and installation conditions. These systems are used for safe current transmission in Ferris wheels, carousels, gondolas, and entertainment units operating along different axes.
Our carbon brushes and brush holders are developed to provide low contact resistance, stable current transmission, and long service life in motors, generators, and other rotating electrical systems. In addition to our standard products, we also offer custom manufacturing solutions tailored to our customers’ existing systems and technical requirements.
4. What are your expectations from ATRAX? Which industry professionals and markets are you aiming to establish new business partnerships with through the fair?
Our primary expectation from ATRAX is to strengthen our relationships with existing customers and come together on the same platform with business partners we have been working with for many years. At the same time, we aim to establish new connections with amusement machine manufacturers, amusement park and theme park operators, project companies, system integrators, technical service providers, maintenance teams, and spare parts distributors.
In particular, we want to offer the industry the advantages of local production, fast technical support, and application-specific design in slip rings, carbon brushes, and current transmission components. In addition to working together with manufacturers on new projects, we also aim to develop solutions for issues encountered in existing systems, such as wear, intermittent current transmission, and spare parts supply.
While strengthening our business partnerships in Türkiye, we also aim to establish new connections with manufacturers, operators, and distributors in Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, and Africa.
5. Do you have export activities for your products? Which countries or regions are you currently targeting?
We have overseas sales and market development activities. To expand our export network, we participate in international trade fairs, hold direct meetings with customers, and carry out distributorship activities in different countries.
We are particularly focused on developing new customers and business partnerships in Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, North Africa, and East Africa. We believe that ATRAX’s international visitor profile will make a significant contribution to establishing new export connections, strengthening our existing relationships, and increasing the international recognition of the İlhami Kaynak brand.
