We Want to Turn RC Karting into a Global Concept That Can Be Implemented in Different Cities and Countries

1. Could you briefly introduce your company and the products and solutions you offer in the sector?

RC Karting is a next-generation racing concept born in Türkiye, with its first branch opened in Istanbul in 2024. It is a concept that brings together physical vehicles, remote-control technology, a racing cockpit, and digital infrastructure in a single experience, and is the first of its kind in the world to be implemented in this integrated format.

Instead of using a conventional remote control, participants sit in a racing cockpit equipped with a steering wheel and pedals. They control the physical vehicle on the track from their own perspective by following the live footage transmitted from a camera mounted on the vehicle, race against other drivers in real time, and can digitally track their lap times and performance results at the end of the race. At our Istanbul center, up to five drivers can race simultaneously on the 105-meter track.

One of RC Karting’s most important features is that it creates a new space between simulation and real motorsports. Users get behind the wheel in a controlled and safe environment, just as they would in a simulation; however, their commands are not translated into the movement of a virtual vehicle, but into the actions of a physical vehicle moving on a real track. The track, vehicles, competitors, interactions, and race results all take place in the real world. In this way, the control, data, and repeatability enabled by the digital world are combined with the sense of reality, competition, and excitement of physical racing.

We do not see RC Karting simply as an entertainment system consisting of vehicles, a track, and a cockpit. We are designing the entire user journey as a single ecosystem, from reservations through the mobile application to centralized race management, score and performance tracking, tournaments and events, social media engagement, and community building. We aim to create digital continuity that allows users to make reservations before a race, track their results afterward, and compare their performance over time.

Our goal is not to create an activity where someone comes in, drives a vehicle for just ten minutes, and leaves. We want to create a sustainable experience where users want to improve their lap times, race their friends again, try different driving styles, participate in tournaments, enjoy themselves outside of the race, and eventually see themselves as part of a racing community. For this reason, alongside the racing experience itself, community, competition, and repeat visits are also important components of our business model.

From a technological perspective, our primary goal is to make the experience of operating a remotely controlled physical vehicle as close as possible to driving a real vehicle. In the long term, we aim to build an infrastructure that allows users to race not only faster, but also in a more technical and measurable way.

Another important aspect of RC Karting is its aim to make motorsports more accessible. Owning a real racing vehicle, participating in track days, or experiencing motorsports at a professional level comes with significant financial and accessibility barriers. RC Karting aims to offer physical racing through remote control in a safer format, make it more accessible through its network of branches, and reach a wider audience through its ease of driving.

In its simplest form, RC Karting can be thought of as a racing game brought out of the screen and into the real world. We combine the control, data, and user experience capabilities of the digital world with the real vehicles, track, and sense of competition of the physical world. For this reason, we position ourselves not only within the entertainment industry, but also within the field of “phygital experience,” where physical and digital experiences come together.

2. What factors influenced your decision to participate in ATRAX for the first time? Have you had the opportunity to visit our fair in previous years?

I had the opportunity to visit ATRAX before. This year, however, as RC Karting, we wanted to go beyond being a visitor and introduce our concept directly to industry professionals, investors, and potential business partners.

The timing is particularly important for us. During the initial phase of RC Karting, our priority was not to explain the concept or expand rapidly, but first to operate the system with real users in the field, improve our technology and operations, identify operational requirements, and understand how users respond to this new form of racing. In a concept that combines technology with a physical experience, a good idea or a working prototype alone is not enough. The system needs to operate under intensive daily use, be easily understood by different user profiles, allow races to be managed consistently, and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Our first center in Istanbul gave us highly valuable hands-on experience in this regard. We had the opportunity to observe through real-world use which parts users adapted to more quickly, which technological details directly affected the experience, where the operation required standardization, and which factors strengthened repeat visits. This process transformed RC Karting from a venture that existed only at the idea stage into a working and developable model in the field.

At the point we have reached today, our focus is increasingly shifting toward scaling. We are working on how RC Karting can be implemented in different locations, how it can be positioned in spaces of different sizes, which operational standards need to be maintained, and which business models can be used to establish new branches. Going forward, new branches, franchise models, investment partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic collaborations will form important parts of our growth plan.

For this reason, we believe ATRAX is taking place at the right time for us. The fair brings together a broad professional network that we want to connect with on RC Karting’s growth journey, from shopping mall investors and entertainment center operators to event companies and sponsors. Here, we want to engage not only with potential investors, but also with location owners, solution partners, brand representatives, and operators looking for new concepts in the entertainment industry.

We do not see RC Karting as a business limited to our existing track in Istanbul. The concept has a structure that can be adapted to various locations, from shopping malls and entertainment centers to different experience spaces, with elements such as track size, vehicle count, and cockpit capacity scalable according to requirements. This makes a fair like ATRAX, where decision-makers from different sectors come together, even more valuable to us.

For this reason, we do not view ATRAX simply as a fair where we will introduce our brand. We also see it as an important platform for listening to the needs of the industry, understanding the expectations of different businesses, discovering new areas of application, and evaluating our concept together with potential business partners.

The fair’s international visitor profile is also important to us. While strengthening our operations in Türkiye, we aim to enter different markets in the long term, particularly in Europe and the Gulf countries. From this perspective, ATRAX offers a two-way opportunity for both local growth and international connections.

In short, we first built a model that was validated and developed in the field; now we are moving into the stage of growing that model with the right partners. We see ATRAX as an important starting point where the foundations can be laid for RC Karting to expand into new locations, new business models, and, in the future, different countries.

3. Which products and solutions will you showcase at your stand? Could you tell us about their key features and areas of use?

At our stand, we primarily aim to explain to visitors how RC Karting works and the integrated system behind it. Rather than presenting it solely through visuals or presentations, we want to communicate the fundamental working principles of the system as directly as possible through the experience area we will create.

In RC Karting, the vehicle, racing cockpit, steering wheel and pedal system, live video transmission, remote-control technology, centralized race management, performance tracking, and digital infrastructure are not independent products; they work together as components of the same racing experience. When the driver sits in the cockpit, the commands given through the steering wheel and pedals are transmitted to the physical vehicle on the track. The live footage from the camera mounted on the vehicle is transmitted to the driver, allowing the user to control the vehicle from their own perspective. At the same time, other competitors operate their own vehicles, creating not a computer-generated race, but a physical competition taking place on a real track.

This is also the key point that distinguishes us from conventional RC vehicle experiences and racing simulators. We are not simply offering a remotely controlled vehicle; nor are we developing only a cockpit or simulation system. We are developing an end-to-end system and a new community in which physical vehicles race on a real track, drivers control the vehicles using steering wheels and pedals, performance is measured digitally, and the entire race operation can be managed centrally.

The digital infrastructure is an important part of this experience. Through our mobile application, we can manage reservation processes and aim to ensure that the user’s relationship with the race is not limited to the time spent on the track. Through scoring systems, race results, tournaments, events, and social media content, we are building a structure that extends the physical experience into the digital world. In this way, RC Karting becomes not simply an activity that begins and ends on the track, but a comprehensive experience covering the user’s journey before, during, and after the race.

Centralized race management also provides an important solution on the operational side. Starting and ending races, managing vehicles and drivers, controlling the flow of races, and tracking performance data are all handled within a single operational structure. This provides significant advantages in terms of operational standardization, particularly in systems where multiple vehicles and drivers compete simultaneously.

In the long term, we aim to continuously develop this infrastructure, from more detailed analysis of driving performance and advanced control and imaging technologies to more realistic cockpit systems. From our perspective, the current system is not the final stage; it is a technological development platform that is progressively moving closer to the experience of driving a real vehicle.

One of the concept’s important features for businesses is its scalability. RC Karting does not have to be implemented only in a large, standalone facility. Models can be developed for locations of different sizes, particularly shopping malls, entertainment centers, cafés, event spaces, and next-generation experience centers. Track dimensions, vehicle numbers, cockpit capacity, and operational capacity can be configured according to the requirements of each location.

The same infrastructure also enables different use cases, from tournaments and corporate events to private events and brand collaborations. In this respect, the system can offer different experience and communication models not only to individual users, but also to businesses and brands.

For this reason, at our stand, rather than simply showcasing a product, we want to explain what kind of ecosystem RC Karting is. By bringing technology, physical movement, competition, performance tracking, and racing culture together in a single system, we are creating a sustainable racing experience where people do not simply try it once and leave, but want to return to improve their lap times, race their friends again, and continue developing their skills.

4. What are your expectations from ATRAX? Which industry professionals and markets are you targeting for new business partnerships through the fair?

Our primary expectation from ATRAX is to connect RC Karting with investors, operators, brands, and strategic business partners with whom we can grow together during our upcoming expansion and scaling phase.

In particular, we want to meet shopping mall and entertainment center investors, family entertainment centers, event and organization companies, groups investing in next-generation experience spaces, and operators looking to bring a different entertainment or racing concept to their locations. At the same time, real estate developers, companies investing in experience-based projects in the tourism and hospitality sectors, and businesses looking to add a strong visitor attraction to their existing locations are also among our potential partners.

One of RC Karting’s advantages is that it can be adapted to different commercial spaces. It can be established as a large, standalone center, or, where suitable conditions are available, positioned in more compact spaces or as part of an existing entertainment business. Therefore, it is important for us at ATRAX to meet not only direct investors but also professionals who can integrate the concept into their existing business operations.

Another important area for us is sponsorships and brand partnerships. Since RC Karting is built around competition, technology, and motorsports, we believe we can offer brands looking to gain visibility in the racing environment opportunities to become part of the experience beyond traditional advertising spaces. We want to develop long-term partnerships with brands from various sectors related to automotive, technology, energy, sports, retail, and motorsports.

Türkiye is very important to us and represents the right starting point. Our initial goal is to establish a strong, standardized structure here that can be implemented with the same level of quality across different locations. As we expand through new branches, we aim not only to open new tracks but also to maintain the RC Karting standard in terms of technology, operations, safety, racing quality, and user experience at every location.

For international growth, we are particularly evaluating Europe and the Gulf countries as priority regions. Europe’s strong motorsports culture and interest in new entertainment concepts, together with the rapid development of the experience economy, tourism, and next-generation entertainment investments in the Gulf countries, create important opportunities for RC Karting. In the long term, we plan to work on models that combine the local market knowledge of partners in different countries with our technology, operational expertise, and brand infrastructure.

Our long-term goal is not simply to open more RC Karting branches. We want to develop a new global racing discipline that brings technology together with physical racing, makes motorsports more accessible, and over time creates its own racing formats, tournaments, community, and competitive structure. From this perspective, expansion through branches is not only geographical growth for us; it means recreating the same racing culture across different cities and countries.

To make this vision a reality, it is necessary to bring together not only capital, but also the right locations, operational expertise, technology, and brand partnerships. An important part of our expectations from ATRAX is precisely to establish connections that can help us build this ecosystem.

Since day one, we have continuously developed RC Karting based on user feedback, real-world data, and technological developments. We want to maintain this approach throughout the expansion process as well. We believe that new locations will not only provide growth opportunities, but also open up new learning areas through different user profiles and new use cases.

I believe that this form of racing, which may seem unusual to many people today, can become a natural part of the motorsports and entertainment industries in the future. We expect ATRAX to be one of the important platforms that brings together the right investors, operators, brands, and international business partners on this journey.

5. Do you have export activities for your products? Which countries or regions are you currently targeting?

At present, before beginning active exports, we are focused on strengthening our operations in Türkiye, developing our technology, and standardizing the RC Karting business model so that it can be implemented across different locations. Therefore, our current priority is to establish a strong structure in Türkiye that can later be replicated in international markets.

At the same time, international expansion has been an important part of RC Karting’s plans since its establishment. We believe that the concept we have developed is not specific only to Istanbul or Türkiye, but offers a universal racing and entertainment experience that can find a place in different countries.

We are evaluating potential opportunities with investors, operators, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders in different markets, particularly in Europe and the Gulf countries. From time to time, we also engage with relevant communities and companies in different countries to receive their feedback on the concept and exchange ideas about potential investment and partnership models. For us, these discussions are not simply sales or franchise negotiations; they are also important for understanding the expectations, user habits, and investment conditions of different markets.

We do not view exports simply as shipping a physical product manufactured in Türkiye to another country. The real value of RC Karting that can be exported internationally is the integrated system created by the combination of multiple components. This system includes everything from physical vehicles and remote-control technology to live video transmission and racing cockpits; from software infrastructure and centralized race management to reservation and user systems; and from the brand experience to tournaments, events, social media, and community building.

Therefore, in the long term, what we want to export is not simply vehicles or equipment, but a racing concept supported by technology, operational expertise, brand standards, and user experience. In other words, we want to turn RC Karting into a system that can be licensed, established, and operated in different markets according to the same fundamental quality standards.

In this regard, we believe that franchises and strategic local partnerships will play an important role in our international growth model. Our goal is not simply to open a track in another country with an RC Karting sign. We want the technology, racing standards, operational quality, and user experience we have developed in Istanbul to be implemented in the same way. For this, training, technical support, operational procedures, digital systems, and brand standards must also be part of the international model.

Of course, the dynamics of every market are different. Track size, commercial model, pricing, visitor profile, and location type may vary from country to country. Therefore, we believe that certain elements of the model should be adaptable to local needs. At the same time, preserving the brand’s core racing experience, technological approach, and quality standards is essential for us.

We see Europe as an important market due to its developed motorsports culture, high spending on entertainment, and interest in experience-focused concepts. In the Gulf countries, the rapid growth of tourism, shopping malls, entertainment destinations, and technology-driven experience investments is particularly noteworthy.

In addition, once a global structure is established in the long term, we see value in connecting tracks in different countries not only as independent businesses, but also through joint tournaments, scoring systems, and digital competitive structures. Such a structure could enable RC Karting to become not merely an exported entertainment concept, but a platform that creates a shared racing culture across countries.

RC Karting was born in Istanbul, but from the very beginning, our goal was not simply to build a successful business in Istanbul. We want to establish a global structure that can be implemented in different cities and countries with the right technology, the right business model, and the right local partners. We see our first track in Istanbul not as the final destination of this journey, but as its starting point.
