Work on the Mavi Yeşil Batman Project is approaching its final stage. Extending along approximately 12 kilometres beside the Batman River, the project aims to create a new space where residents can enjoy nature, take part in outdoor activities and spend time away from the pace of everyday life.

Alongside walking and cycling paths, the project includes facilities such as a tennis court, basketball court and parking areas. The development is designed to make outdoor spaces more accessible and enjoyable for people of different ages.

A New Recreational Space Along the Batman River

One of the project’s key features is the way it brings sports and leisure facilities together along an extensive route. Walking and cycling paths are being developed alongside areas for different sports, with the aim of encouraging more active lifestyles.

In this respect, Mavi Yeşil Batman is more than a new recreation area. It is also an investment intended to make the surroundings of the Batman River a more integral part of everyday urban life.

Preparations Continue Ahead of the Opening

The project, led by Batman Municipality, is reported to be nearing completion. The opening is planned for 29 October. Once completed, the development is expected to provide residents with a new route for walking, cycling and outdoor sports.

The Mavi Yeşil Batman Project is among the urban investments highlighting how green spaces can serve not only as places to relax, but also as areas for physical activity and everyday social life. The new development along the Batman River is expected to contribute to the city’s recreational opportunities.
