Known internationally for its work in robotic entertainment systems, DOF Robotics is now making headlines with a major investment aimed at expanding its manufacturing infrastructure. The company is preparing to establish a new production center for service and humanoid robots through the DOF TECH factory, which will be located in Istanbul’s Arnavutköy district.
The facility, which will be established with an investment of approximately $25 million, will bring R&D, software development, automation, machinery manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes together under one roof. With the new investment, DOF Robotics’ manufacturing area is set to expand from 4,000 square meters to 16,000 square meters, while production capacity is expected to increase significantly.
To date, DOF Robotics has delivered projects around the world with motion simulators, immersive experience technologies, and robotic entertainment systems. The company is now transferring the engineering and R&D expertise it has developed in these fields into the development of service and humanoid robots. The facility will initially focus on prototype production, with mass production planned for a later stage.
The rapid growth of the global service robotics market further highlights the significance of the investment. With the market expected to exceed $73 billion in the coming years, the DOF TECH investment is designed to strengthen the company’s manufacturing capabilities while enabling it to bring robot technologies carrying the “Made in Türkiye” label to international markets.
DOF Robotics’ investment stands out not only as an important step in the company’s growth strategy, but also as a notable development for the advancement of high-tech manufacturing and robotics production in Türkiye.
