The investment is planned to add a total of 110,000 square meters of new facilities to Istanbul Expo Center. Around 40,000 square meters of this area will be allocated for exhibition purposes. The project will also include a new venue with a capacity of up to 11,500 people, designed to accommodate congresses, large-scale events and sporting events.

The expansion will increase the range of spaces available for different types of organizations. Alongside exhibition halls, the addition of dedicated infrastructure for congresses and major events is expected to support a wider variety of event formats throughout the year.

According to information shared by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the investment is targeted for completion by the end of 2028 or during the first half of 2029.

With the planned expansion, Istanbul Expo Center is set to increase its physical capacity while further strengthening Istanbul’s infrastructure for international exhibitions, congresses and events.
